Candice McPhillips is the founder and managing attorney of McPhillips Law. As an experienced litigator and tax attorney, Candice founded the firm to leverage her skills to serve businesses, nonprofits, professionals, and military families outside of the traditional law firm environment. On a cloud-based platform, BigLaw experience is available more efficiently and cost effectively to all clients.
Candice is a member of the bars of Virginia, the District of Columbia, Arizona, and New York. Candice is also active in the Military Spouse JD Network, and has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono legal assistance to military families and nonprofits. Candice has served over the years on numerous law firm committees focused on diversity in the law and law firm associate development issues.
Prior to founding McPhillips Law, Candice worked in major global law firms in Virginia, D.C. and New York. Candice is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce, and earned a Master of Laws in Taxation and an additional graduate certificate in state and local taxation from Villanova University Law School.
